I’m taking a break….
Over the last few years, I managed to post one of these columns once every month.
I know that’s not very frequent, considering many journalists write a column up to three times a week. But lately I’ve been having trouble coming up with interesting ideas and I feel like the time I’ve spent working on these posts has been taking time away from me working on my book, which I’ve also been trying to finish for the last few years.
So I’ve decided to take a break to see if I can use the extra time to finish up my sci-fi epic. My goal is to finish the first draft by the end of the year.
This doesn’t mean I’m going to totally abandon this forum. In fact, I plan on updating you on my progress throughout the year. It’s just that those updates might be less frequent than they have in the past.
So wish me luck as I make a final big push to meet this self-imposed deadline and crank out the last missing chapters of my story.
